Family, friends and I spent this past Friday at The Getty Villa’s ArtQuest! program series, Scent/Spice/Salve. We followed artist Becca Lofchie as she lead the hands-on workshop, ultimately allowing us to create our own herbal mixture from plant ingredients found in the Villa’s gardens.

Later, we enjoyed the spectacular ocean views, gardens galore and the kid-friendly interactive art projects offered at Getty Villa.

We also happened upon an awesome viewing of a fawn during its afternoon vegan snack on the Getty grounds.

Being able to share the experience with friends = priceless.
