Living Homes’ Modular House on 2914 Highland Avenue in Santa Monica is among L.A.’s first known “modern prefab” homes.

Friends and I were able to visit this Ray Kappe designed home to admire its architectural beauty and to educate ourselves in innovative sustainable living. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to live in a beautiful home such as this one? Knowing what one wants is the first step to realizing one’s hopes and dreams. Procuring the land on the Westside can prove to be elusive. Oh well.
